Community and Vocational Service
The Club always has a very full programme of Community and Vocational support in operation.
Support I being given for the Life Education Caravan. This is an educational project giving appropriate I
information on drug awareness and advice on drug related problems. First and Middle Schools in the
Moorlands area have access to this facility.
Safety Scene is a local project that enables 22 local schools in the area to have access to a programme
dealing with all aspects of safety. The Club is to lend support for this very worthwhile programme.
The Club supports many individual requests for assistance from a wide variety of local charitable causes.
If anyone knows of a local charity that could benefit from our help, please let the Club know.
Support will be given again for Stroke Awareness Day, a valuable community initiative that does identify t
those who need to have further medical help with blood pressure. This is carried out as a joint programme
with the Rotary Club of Endon and Stockton Brook.
